Train: Trains are faster than automobiles and buses, but slower than airplanes. In Chapter 2, Stanley’s dad mailed Stanley to California because it was cheaper than a train or plane ticket. See how many items you can find that are as thin as Stanley. Take an object and see how long, how wide and how thin that item is. Practice measuring items around the house using your ruler. In Chapter 1, the nurse measures Stanley using a ruler to give to the tailor.
